Bolgatanga, June 11, GNA - Zoomlion will establish a waste management university next year to undertake fulltime courses in waste management, sanitation and hygiene.

The company is putting in place structures to kick start the university that would have campuses in Accra and Tamale. The Public Relations Officer of Zoomlion, Mr. Oscar Provencal, told journalists that the university would be first of its type in Africa and is expected to serve the sub-region and other African countries. Mr. Provencal said the university would start admitting students by the middle of next year and would collaborate with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the University of Cape Coast, the University of Ghana and the Ontario University.
