NDC youth advised to stop unruly behaviour

Winneba (C/R), April 3, GNA - A founding member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Mintah, has called on the youth of the=

party to exercise restraint and allow the government time to fix them in employment. Addressing a party meeting at Winneba, Mr Mintah who is the Central Regional Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the party, expressed concern about the unruly behaviour of some youth who claimed to be member= s of the NDC in recent times.

He pointed out that if such behaviours were not checked, they could affect the fortunes of the party in future elections. Mr Mintah endorsed the order given by President John Evans Atta Mill= s to the police to arrest and prosecute anyone who misbehaved. He said the order would prevent detractors of the party from disguis= ing themselves as member of the NDC to cause mischief.

The founding member cautioned supporters of the party not to allow their detractors to influence them to do things against their wishes. "If you really love the party, you will protect its image at all times," he stressed. He advised the youth to take advantage of the training programmes to=

acquire skills that would make them employable.
