Packed breakfast now available on Ghanaian market

Accra, Nov. 17, GNA - Ghanaians can now enjoy quality packed breakfast meals without the usual morning hassle, Mr Albert Osei, Chief Executive Officer of Koko King Company, an organization that packages already made breakfast meals, said on Tuesday.

He said most people especially within the city, skipped breakfast to enable them to get to work on time or to pursue other important things. "Breakfast is an important meal that should not be skipped, therefore Koko King Company has packaged meals like porridge made from millet, maize, rice, Tom Brown, oblayo, eku-egbemi, oats and wheat porridge to enable many Ghanaians, especially those working in offices, to enjoy quality breakfast," he said.

Mr Osei said the meals, which are prepared under strict hygienic conditions currently sold in Tema and some parts of Accra, will soon be extended to other areas. The company also receives orders for funerals, parties, conferences and weddings.

The pack of breakfast, which sells at between GH¢1.00 and GH¢2.50, will continue to improve such that it meets international standards. The meals packaged in an airtight plastic-like cup together with bread,sugar and sometimes milk can be kept warm for a long time. Mrs Ruth Brako, Manager of Quality Service Institute, an organization that focuses on enhancing customer service, attested to the fact that the Koko King products were of good quality and tasted good, urging the Ghanaian public to patronize it.

She advised staff of Koko King Company to ensure that they provided quality service to all their customers, saying, "Without the customer there is no business."

Mrs Brako also advised the management of Koko King to continuously train staff to ensure that they practiced and maintained good customer care.
