Two Corporate Institutions donate towards Police Station Project

Tema, Oct 18, GNA - Two corporate organisations in Tema, on Friday donated separate items towards the completion of the Community Eleven Police Station Project.

The organisations, Tropical Cable and Conductor Limited (TCCL), producers of electrical cables, and Pasico Ghana Limited (PGL), donated electrical cables and louver blades respectively. The donations were in fulfilment of the corporate social responsibility of the two institutions, to give back to society to help improve the lives of people in those communities in which they operate. The Tema Rotary Club, initiator of the Police Station Project, which will serve Communities Six, 10, 11 and 12, received the items on behalf of the Police Administration, at a ceremony at the Rotary Centre in Tema. Mr Frederick Blasu, Marketing Manager of TCCL, made the donation on behalf of his company, while that of PGL was handed over by its Engineering Sales Co-ordinator, Mrs Victoria Owusu-Ansah.

Mr Blasu said his company was committed to ensuring improvement in the quality of lives of residents in the communities where it was operating. Mrs Owusu-Ansah expressed the hope that the gesture would help speed up work on the project.

Mr John Bisiw, President of the Rotary Club, received the items, and thanked the donors for the wonderful gesture. Mr Bisiw assured the companies that the donations would be used for their intended purposes.
