MTN launches annual week celebration

Accra, Oct. 5, GNA - MTN on Monday launched its first ever annual week celebration and resolved to continue to explore more innovative opportunities to satisfy its subscribers.

"Today we are rededicating ourselves to offer the best customer experiences to our valued subscribers. MTN will not relent in ensuring the customer is satisfied and has better value," Mrs Jemima Kotei Walsh, Acting Customer Service Executive, MTN, said The week, being observed on the theme "One Direction. All Together Now" is devoted to raising awareness of the importance of customer service as well as to honour staff "for their exceptional customer service over the years".

Mrs Walsh announced that MTN will as part of the celebration observe activities such as "MTN goes traditional", which involves staff dressing in traditional attires to serve customers; "MTN goes to Makola" where staff would go to the market to interact with the traders, as well as donation of food items to orphanage in Kasoa and presenting certificate and special packages to MTN staff. Mr Mazen Mroue, Chief Information Officer, MTN, said the celebration would afford management and staff the opportunity to showcase their lead role in the telecommunication industry by maintaining their marketing leadership. 5 Oct. 09
