Chief Executive's appointment withdrawn

Accra, Aug. 10, GNA - The re-nomination of Ms Ophelia Koomson, as the Municipal Chief Executive of the Birim Central Assembly has been withdrawn by President John Atta Mills.

A statement signed by the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Joseph Yieleh Chireh, said the nomination was announced on July 9.
