Ministry of Finance gets New Director of Budget

Accra, July 16, GNA - The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning on Thursday announced the appointment of Mr Simeon Patrick Kyei as the new Director of Budget. His appointment took effect from July 15, according to a statement from the Ministry.

Until his appointment, Mr Kyei was Chief Manager, Research Department of the Bank of Ghana.

He holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School, a first degree in Economics with Sociology also from the University and a Post-Graduate Diploma from Bradford University in the United Kingdom.

Mr Kyei had his secondary education at Boa Amponsem Senior High School and Swedru Senior High School for his Ordinary and Advanced level certificates. He is married with three children.
