Chief makes land ready for investors

Ajumako Anyinase (C/R), July 1, GNA - A 50-year-old farmer was on Friday installed as the chief of Ajumako Anyinase in the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District with the stool name as Nana Essiam III. Nana Essiam succeeded his late uncle, Nana Essiam II, who died 22 years ago.

Addressing his people at a ceremony at Ajumako Anyinase, Nana Essiam said that a vast land had been demarcated for any investor wishing to go into cocoa and food production.

He said the area has no health facilities and that the people had to travel to Assin Fosu and Breman Asikuma to attend hospital, a distance of 23 and 10 kilometers respectively.

He called for the cooperation of the people to enhance the development of the area.

Nana Essiam said education is one of his priorities and appealed to his people to send their children to school. 01 July 09
