The minister for youth and sports, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak is reported to be at the presidency answering on some financial malfeasance and abuse at of office

Alhaji Mubarak is reported to have allegedly demanded GH¢12,000 for the diapers and mouth gargle of his baby and demanded monies amounting to several thousands of Ghana cedis to cover expenses made by the Black Stars.

He is also reported to have demanded ¢1000 to consult a spiritualist to boost the fortunes of the Black Stars in their encounters.

The sports Minister has also allegedly received some monies for his personal expenses, including travelling with his girlfriend to a luxurious resort in Cote D'Ivoire and charged the cost to his ministry.

He told Citi News however that he is innocent of the charges and would come out to prove his innocence after clearing himself with the president.

News of the scandal came to light when a document that in which recorded the alleged extravagant spending of Hon. Muntaka Mubarak was leaked to the media.
