3G Magazine launched in Ghana

As 3G magazine now circulates in Ghana and we anticipate the second issue shortly; 3G Publisher and Chief Executive Officer; Charles Nimmo Ntiamoah-Mensah (Mr. CNN) takes this opportunity to thank his team; Kwabena Manu (Editor-Chief), Fred Ansong Dwamena (Chief Operating Officer), Florence Nyarkoah, (Financial Adviser) and Mindy Asiedu (PR) for their immense contribution.

Finally a big thank you to Global Media Alliance, Silverbird/Lifestyle for having 3G magazine now on display at Lifeystyle, Silverbird; Accra Mall.

The Publishers' own words;

Becoming a Publisher – growing up, a dream which I BLABBED IT AND GRABBED IT.(The power of the tongue).

I never thought I will one day leave Ayigya zongo in Kumasi for London after completing form five at OKESS and many years later return with my own magazine on display in Accra. My recent trip to the Great Hall of KNUST over 26 years brought tears. I had a third year student; David Owusu approached me and stated that he had been reading my numerous feature articles and work on Ghanaweb. He has been inspired by my energy and willingness to succeed and my motivation to be the best. He said he wanted me to be his mentor and without hesitation accepted his request.

Twenty-six (26) years ago as a teenager, I used to hang around with my cousins and friends at the same university carrying students' luggage for pennies during the end of the third term/semester. We used to run errands for the students, play soccer barefooted at the Paa Joe Stadium. At form two at OKESS, l led the soccer team wearing a red and white stripped track suit to the field during a tournnament which they won.(That was the beginning of me loving the spotlight).

As a child born in London and at an early age, my wonderful parents sent me to Ghana to live with by my grandmother, (now 109, (see me and grandma photo) and then finally my aunt But I had love, was taught how to pray and fear God, self confidence, discipline and respect for elders, treat everyone like family, always give and share. The credit goes to my parents for making the wise decision to take me to Ghana and acquiring a great education. What I experienced as a child really helped me in my aspiration to be whatever I wanted be.

On this recent trip to Ghana as the Publisher promoting the magazine; I had the opportunity to be interviewed on TV3 Sunrise morning show which also featured my pal; Van Vicker. Prior to that interview, I was on Abeku Santana's "Efie Kwanso Show" and Deelay's Show which also featured; Koofori,(Actor/Radio/TV Personality), Black Rasta and Sarkodie (Ghana's Twista, "Obededepongbede, one time for your mind").

3G also covered the finale of the 10th anniversary of Otumfour Osei Tutu II’s 10th Anniversary which included a symposium at Great Hall, KNUST and a huge durbar at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

3G is moving from strength to strength with several future projects in the pipeline. Advice to fellow dreamers; one must be what they want to be, BLAB IT AND GRAB IT. Along the way, one must NEVER accept negative comments by those who make it anonymously. Turn that dream into a reality and God willing it shall come to pass, "No shaking".

I pray for the success of Global Media Alliance, Albert and staff at Silverbird; Lifestyle, Accra Mall. "Big up to close pals in showbiz; Koofori and Abeku Santana. Also thank you to Charity of Global Touch Productions, the hosts/ Producers of TV3, Sunrise morning show and DeeLay for "holding it down for Mr. CNN".

"Grandma's Secret to longevity "Fear God, God is good all the time, Think Positive, Treat everyone in this world with respect, and Give" - The secret is the inspiration behind the 3G Magazine; - God, Global & Giving.
