Christians urged to lead lives of purity

Kumasi, April 10, GNA - Primate Seth Adofo, Spiritual Head of the Brotherhood Church, has called on Christians to lead lives of purity and reconciliation. He said this was the only way that would influence non-Christians to appreciate the contribution of Christianity. Preaching at a special service, on Good Friday, in Kumasi, Primate Adofo expressed concern about the upsurge of crime in the country in recent times and urged Christians to help restore sanity. He said it was time Christians eschewed bad deeds and got closer to God.

Primate Adofo said Jesus Christ sacrificed for the iniquities of mankind and it, therefore, behoved Christians to accept to forgive those who offend them as Jesus did. He asked Christians to contribute positively towards the socio-economic development of their communities. 10 April 09
