Tunisians Win Bid for Ghana Irrigation Project

Tunis — The Tunisian engineering and consulting group "Studi International" has won a bid for a major irrigation project in Ghana.

The 1, 4 million dollar project which consists in a feasibility study for a 200 hectare irrigation project, involving an irrigation system, land mapping and the choice of the optimal crop, will be financed by the Kuwait Fund.

The project is also likely to help Ghana in providing irrigation for other projects destined to the country's various communities.

"Studi International" is an engineering group specializing in water, the environment, agriculture, rural development, building, and transport infrastructure. It has subsidiaries in Algeria and France.
