Vote for Atta Mills, vote for national growth

Anfoega-Tokorme, Dec 20, GNA -Miss Mercy Kuadah Volta Regional Women's Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) last Friday stressed that a vote for Professor Evans Atta Mills in the Dec 28, Presidential runoff would be a vote for national growth.

She said the personal qualities of Professor Atta Mills were crucial for economic and social reformation that Ghana needed now. Miss Kuadah was addressing supporters of the NDC at various spots in the Anfoega-Tokorme area in the North Dayi Constituency. She alleged that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had sent its emissaries round the constituency to distribute "Christmas Gifts" to people with the view to getting them to vote a certain direction in the coming polls.

Miss Kuadah asked NDC supporters to receive those gifts, which included rice and cooking oil, make use of them but go to the polls to vote against the NPP candidate. 20 Dec. 08
