123 Confirmed Dead

The Ministry of Health has confirmed the death of 123 people in the stadium tragedy. The breakdown of the death in the various hospitals are:

Ridge Hospital            11 
Police Hospital            6 
Korle bu Teaching Hospital 3 
 

The figures for those on admission at the various hospitals all in Accra are 37 Military, 50; Ridge, 20; Police Hospital, 11; Trust Hospital, one and Korle Bu Hospital, four.
Three Moslems who died during the tragedy have been buried this morning. Meanwhile the Ministry of Health says it has sent enough medical supplies to the various hospitals for the treatment of patients on admission following the stampede.
