Mr Kwasi Blay, Deputy Western Regional Minister, said despites the voting pattern of the people, government had constructed roads, built schools with headmaster's bungalow among others for the people in the area.

He said government will continue to bring development to the area, but that will depend on "our wining the December general elections massively in Sefwi and its environs".

He urged all to forge ahead in unity for the party, the area and the country as a whole, adding that, "you should vote for the NPP for you to have a representative in parliament who will discuss your needs with the president".

Mr Alan Kyeremanteng, a member of the campaign team noted that, there are five constituencies in the Sefwi Wiaso District, but the NPP had only one representative as a Member of Parliament in the area.
