Traders show interest in GOIL

Accra, Nov. 27, GNA - Investors on Tuesday showed interest in GOIL shares during trading on the bourse, buying 2.129 million shares in the oil distributing company.

The company also saw its share price increase by 0.0099 Gh cedis at 0.2500 Gh cedis.

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Shares Index, the main market indicator, rose by 3.53 points at 6,130.27 points and change for the year ended at 22.46 per cent.

Total number of shares that changed hands was 2.319 million with GOIL selling 2.129 million.

On the broader market, there were six price changes, all positive. Ecobank Ghana Limited gained 0.0002 Gh cedis at 1.6802 Gh cedis, Enterprise Insurance Company was 0.0010 Gh cedis better at 1.2025 Gh cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank inched up by 0.0001 Gh cedis at 0.9706 Gh cedis an Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited also inched up by 0.0001 GH Cedis at 1.2124 Gh cedis. Standard Chartered Bank was 0.0001 Gh cedis better at 24.1256 Gh cedis and GOIL gained 0.0099 Gh cedis at 0.2500 Gh cedis.

Market capitalisation was up marginally at GH=A212,069.96 from GH=A212,067.78 million on Monday.
