GSE All-Share index makes gain

Accra, June 18, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange benchmark, the GSE-All Share Index, closed higher by 4.85 points at 5,263.37 points on Monday in moderate trading.

Shares that changed hands ended at 442,000 while change for the year to date ended at 5.14 per cent.

There were six positive price changes and no loser. Unilever gained 400 cedis to lead the pack at 15,600 cedis, Enterprise Insurance Limited was 30 cedis better at 9,545 cedis, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited gained seven cedis at 9,530 cedis, Fan Milk Limited edged up by two cedis at 19,555 cedis while Ecobank Ghana and Standard Chartered Bank gained one cedi each at 14,367 cedis and 180,612 cedis respectively.

Market capitalization ended the session at 114,551.30 billion cedis.
