$150m committed to improve Areeba network quality

Accra, June 1, GNA - Over 150 million dollars has so far been committed to network improvement initiatives of Areeba network and subscribers would soon be able to discern steady enhancement in the overall network quality.

A release signed by Ms Mawuena Dumor, Corporate Services Executive of MTN Ghana, now owners of Areeba, said it was, however, necessary to extend to mid-June the period within which some subscribers would experience disruption in service. This was to allow for the maximum optimization of the network as a result of the installation of new hardware.

"MTN seeks the continued understanding of subscribers as we work to establish a vastly improved quality of service," the statement said.
