Monetary Policy Committee meets

Accra, May 15, GNA - The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Ghana, began a meeting on Tuesday to review developments in the economy and take monetary policy decisions.

A statement issued by the Central Bank in Accra said the decision of the committee would be announced at a press conference on Monday, May 21, 2007.

The committee deals with developments in the economy and announces prime rates.
