GSE All-Share index continues slow rise

Accra, April 26, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, continued its slow rise on Thursday with traded shares remaining low.

The index went up by 0.93 points to close at 5,138.06 points from 5,137.13 points on Wednesday.

Change for year was up at 2.64 per cent while traded volumes slumped to 149,200 shares from 568,900.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, all positive. Fan Milk Limited led the way with a 140-cedi gain at 19,250 cedis. Ecobank Ghana gained five cedis at 14,160 cedis while SG-SSB Bank was 14 cedis better at 6,351 cedis.

Market capitalization closed at 113,297.84 billion cedis from 113,329.27 billion cedis.
