GSE All-Share index makes weak gain

Accra, April 23, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, made a weak gain in quiet trading on Monday buoyed by gains by five equities.

The Index went up by 0.11 points to close at 5,135.48 points from 5,135.37 points on Friday.

Change for year was 2.59 per cent. Traded shares were 16,900 shares.

On the broader market, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) gained two cedis to close trading 9,366 cedis and Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) was up by a cedi to close at 14,153 cedis. Three equities, Fan Milk Limited (FML); SG-SSB Limited and Total Petroleum Ghana (TOTAL) also gained a cedi each to close trading at 19,109 cedis; 6,337 cedis and 54,260 cedis in that order. Market capitalization closed at 113,282.41 billion cedis.
