GSE All-Share index in marginal gain

Accra, March 8, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark index of the Accra bourse, made a marginal gain in another quiet session on Thursday that saw only 10,300 shares changing hands. The index went up by 0.55 points at 5,062.05 points from 5,061.50 points on Monday.

Shares that changed hands plunged to a mere 10,300 from 8,417,400 when there was a bulk sale in Transol.

Market capitalization closed at better at 112,832.47 billion cedis from 112,829.20 billion cedis on Monday.

There were four price changes, all positive.

Ayrton Limited recovered the one cedi it lost on Monday by closing at 976 cedis, ECOBANK Ghana was up by one cedi at 14,003 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank gained 15 cedis at 6,140 cedis while SG-SSB Bank closed three cedis up at 6,124 cedis.
