Ghana lift Amputee Nations Cup

Ghana won the maiden African Amputee Nations Cup after beating Liberia 4-3 in Sierra Leone on Wednesday.
A hat-trick from striker Collins Gyamfi secured the victory for the Ghanaians.
Gyamfi opened the scoring early in the game and scored two more goals after the break.
Liberia could have emerged champions but Boye Khakie and Denis Parker missed penalties.
Ghana also missed a penalty late in the game which could have sealed it all for them, but that failure provided the spice for a nail biting finish.
Sierra Leone's Team One picked up third-place over their Team Two counterparts, who lost 6-1.
Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone will represent Africa at the Amputee World Cup in Turkey later this year.
Gyamfi finished as top scorer with 10 goals with Sierra Leonean Amadou Kamara (El Hadji Diouf) collecting the best player trophy.
Liberia will host the next Nations Cup in 2009.
