GSE All-Share in marginal gain

Accra, Feb. 6, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark index of the Accra bourse, on Tuesday was up a marginal 0.24 points to close at 5,014.42 points from 5,014.18 points on Monday.

Trading was, however, active with Ghana Commercial Bank selling 358,000 shares in a block trade to bring traded volumes to 383,600 shares compared to 8,600 shares on Monday.

Change for the year to date now stands at 0.17 per cent. Market capitalization closed up marginally at 112,546.68 billion cedis from 112,545.25 billion cedis.

On the broader market, there were three price changes, all positive. Fan Milk was up 50 cedis at 18,065 cedis, Transol gained five cedis at 1,085 cedis and Aluworks was one cedi richer at 7,261 cedis.
