Tema Churches support TGH Children's ward

Tema, Jan. 26, GNA -- Members of the Tema branch of the Ghana Pentecostal Council together with the Tema Local Council of Churches have items worth eight million cedis to support the Children's ward of the Tema General Hospital. The items include plastic chairs, cups, toys, bed sheets, confectioneries and other food items. The Rt. Rev. Maclean Kumi, Chairman of the groups' organizing committee, stated that the donation forms part of the group's social responsibility and hoped this would help alleviate some of the problems of the hospital. He said the two groups have decided to unite and work as partners in the Lord's ministry and hoped through such activities they would be able to strengthen that unity. The Midwifery Superintendent on Duty, Ms. Rejoice Hunu, who received the items thanked the group for the gesture and appealed to other individuals and organisations to emulate them.
