Stock market in quiet trading

Accra, Jan. 9, GNA - The Accra bourse on Tuesday witnessed a quiet trading session with only two equities making marginal gains. The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, went up 1.41 points on the strength of a 295 cedi and eight cedi rise by Patterson Zochonis and FanMilk Limited, respectively.

The index ended at 5,006.63 points from 5,005.22 points on Monday. The change for the year stands at 0.01 per cent. Traded shares ended Tuesday session at 32,400 shares up from 13,900 shares recorded on Monday.

Market capitalization closed the session going up marginally at 112,499.65 billion cedis compared to 112,491.23 billion cedis on Monday.
