Accra bourse opens on quiet note

Accra, Dec. 27, GNA - The Accra bourse opened post-Christmas trading on a quiet note with only one equity making a move on low volumes.

The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, inched up by 0.06 points at 5,005.97 points while total volumes traded were up at 163,200 from 105,400 on Friday.

Change for the year to date remained unchanged at 4.97 per cent. ECOBANK Ghana Limited was once again the only price gainer, making three cedis to close at 13,517 cedis.

Market capitalisation ended at 112,415.68 billion cedis from 112,415.36 billion cedis on Friday.
