Accra bourse ends pre-Christmas trading on quiet note

Accra, Dec. 22, GNA - The Accra bourse ended pre-Christmas on a quiet note with an equity making a move and volumes remaining low. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, inched up by 0.03 points at 5,005.91 points while total volumes traded slipped at 105,400 from 153,800 shares on Thursday. The change for the year to date remained unchanged at 4.97 per cent. ECOBANK Ghana Limited, the only price gainer, made one cedi to close at 13,515 cedis. Market capitalisation ended at 112,415.36 billion cedis from 112,415.20 billion cedis on Thursday.
