Chief Caught In Bed With In-Law

The youth of Nsuo Nsua near Sefwi Wiawso are calling for the head of their chief, Nana Kwame Kye II, after he was caught in bed with the wife of one of his grandsons.

The chief has since fled the town and is believed to have sought refuge at his family home at Wiawso.

According to the investigations by this reporter at Sefwi Nsuo Nsua, on November 25, 2006, there was a funeral at a nearby town and many of the residents attended it, but Nana Kye, who doubled as the Kyidomhene of the Sefwi WiawsoTraditional Area, complained of malaria.

He,therefore, gave ¢30,000 to one of his subjects to be given to the bereaved family as his contribution to the funeral.

At about 3.30pm, one of his two wives, Madam Ama Nkrumah, decided to visit her supposed sick husband in the house, but did not meet him.

She then proceeded to the house of the younger wife, Madam Attah, to find out if he was resting there. Lo and behold, she met her husband profusely sweating and busy in the act of copulation with the wife of his grandson, Kofi Kanga.

On seeing them in the act, Madam Nkrumah fainted and a good Samaritan raised an alarm for help. After recovery, she narrated the incident to the shocked onlookers.

Kofi Kanga has since sent his wife to her relatives at Sefwi Afarm in the Anhwiaso Traditional Area, seeking divorce.

Nana Kye’s subjects have called for his destoolment. The elders of the town have also given him a week’s ultimatum to account for his stewardship and vacate the stool.

Nana Kye, for his part, has vehemently denied the story, saying it was a calculated attempt by his detractors to drag his hard-won reputation into the mud, so as to illegitimately destool him.

He told this reporter that he was not disturbed by the wild allegation and that he would continue to serve his good people.
