Black Stars Coach Burgled

Sunyani -- Thieves, believed to be employees of Eusbet Hotel, last Saturday broke into the hotel room of the national team coach, Claude Le Roy and made away with $500 and five million cedis given to the coach by the FA for the hotel bills.

The incident, which occurred at 7pm, has left a sour taste in the mouth of the management of the hotel.
The Frenchman, together with his wife, had left his room, to go for supper at the hotel restaurant. On his return, he was shocked to find his room completely ransacked. His wife was lucky, as she took along her bag, which contained a huge amount of money.
The coach took consolation from the fact that his passport was not taken away.
Meanwhile, The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reffered the matter to the Sunyani police for investigation and has warned the management of the hotel to be alert else they will lose customers.
