Accra bourse slips on Sam Wood loss

Accra, Nov. 28, GNA - Accra bourse slipped in mixed trading on Wednesday on the loss of Sam Woode Limited, although volumes traded continued to be high.

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main stock index, lost 0.12 points at 4,992.98 points from 4,993.10 points on Tuesday.

Change to date remained at 4.70 per cent.

On the broader market, there were two price changes, one down and one up.

ECOBANK Ghana was up by one cedi at 13,501 cedis but Sam Woode Limited lost 40 cedis at 225 cedis.

Total shares traded ended lower at 602,900 with Supper Paper Products Limited selling 580,000 shares. Market capitalisation was also lower at 112,208.96 billion cedis from 112,209.67 billion cedis.
