Management of GT pledges quality service

Bolgatanga, Aug. 29, GNA - Mr. Frode Haugen, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Telecom (GT) on Monday pledged the company's commitment to ensure quality service delivery to its customers. "Ghana Telecom is focused on delivering quality services to its customers," he stressed.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Bolgatanga, Mr Haugen said GT intended to cover 90 per cent of Ghana by 2007. He noted that operations of the "One Touch" mobile service, was not satisfactory but management would endeavour to improve on its service delivery in all the regions.

Mr. Haugen said about 1.2 million calls were made through GT monthly and appealed to customers to bear with the constraints being faced by the company.

He said plans were far advanced to provide the regions with logistics to improve the quality of service delivery.
