GSE All-Share edges up in quiet trading

Accra, Aug. 8, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, edged up in quiet trading on Tuesday with three equities making gains.

The Index went up by 0.06 points at 4,872.78 points from 4,872.18 points on Monday.

Change for the year to date went up marginally at 2.18 per cent. There were three price changes, all gains.

ECOBANK Ghana Limited continued its surge by gaining 10 cedis at 11,760 cedis while Aluworks Limited and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) gained one cedi each at 6,801 cedis and 9,216 cedis, respectively.

Total shares traded shot up to 247,200 shares from 70,600 while market capitalisation was 97,183.76 billion cedis.
