Ghana Receives Chinese Loan

GHANA – Ghana will take a $38 million low-interest loan from China as a result of China’s friendship building tour in Africa, according to an NNPA report in the Amsterdam News. Ghana will use the loan for telecommunication network upgrades and to finance medical programs.

Meanwhile, Chinese Mobile vendor ZTE announced Tuesday that it will construct Ghana's first distance learning network.
