Ghanaian Musician busted at Heathrow

A renowned Ghanaian musician, Daasebre Dwamena is reported to have been arrested at the Heathrow Airport in London this morning by security and customs officials for possessing substances suspected to be cocaine.

A source closed to a London based radio station LBC which broke the news this morning said they had the story from the customs officials in London.

According to the report, Daasebre Dwamena had in his possession 100 thousand pounds worth of cocaine at the time of his arrest.

He has subsequently been charged for attempting to smuggle cocaine into the UK.
Authorities at the Airport confirmed when contacted but would not give any further details. Investigation continues.
