Ro-Marong unveils new brand name

Accra, May 30 GNA - Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Minister of Tourism and Diasporean Relations, on Tuesday urged advertising companies to maintain high standards in their profession in order to deliver better services.

He said the increase in quality outdoor advertisement had brought a lot of benefit to the economy.

Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey was speaking at the unveiling of "GRAFITEC Limited", a new image and brand name for Romarong Grafix Limited, in Accra.

The new image branding is in line with the Company's objective of making its products more competitive.

The new Company offers digital printing and outdoor advertising as well as job services for other printing houses.

Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey said the numerous outdoor advertisements had gone a long way to give a facelift to Accra.

He expressed the Government=92s commitment in enforcing existing legislation and laws that sought to regulate outdoor advertisement. Mr Fouad Nasser, Managing Director of GRAFITEC, said the re-branding exercise was in line with the Company's investment and expansion programmes, which sought to make its service delivery more competitive.

He said although the printing industry had numerous challenges there were several opportunities for investments.
