One young and handsome Ghanaian and his team of heavy hitter DJs are about to shake New York with an incredible event. Hashim Haruna aka Big Hash, Producer and A&R of hiplife heavyweight; Vision in Progress (VIP) who runs BOOGIE DOWN NIMA PRODUCTIONS (BDNP) in New York, known for big parties backed up good music has planned the event a year ago and VIP's US fans will have a night of action packed non stop music.

It is the grand opening of Golden Stool Lounge and the launching VIP's new album (My Luv). The album will be in stores soon. The event happens on March 11th with a special appearance by Nana Quame of "Koye meho adie and Atia Donko" fame who is currently on a US tour.

In New York, it has always been a trend that only men host events but on this particular occasion, the intelligent, sophisticated and superb Lady D will be holding the mic as the MC backed by New York heavy hitters; DJ E-Love (a cut above the rest), DJ Sam Q from Chicago, DJ Ronny Ron and DJ Ron, DJ Naa Sei, DJ Eric and DJ NYCE from Worcester, MA. Flyers have been circulating around the tri-state area.

BDNP recently joined forces with Golden Stool Lounge and has many events lined up for the year including; Save The Child With Music Concert to help raise money for BDN'S scholarship fund, a talent show and the winner will be offered.
