Western Regional FA Chief brandishes Vice

GFA GFA

Incumbent Western Regional FA Chairman Kojo Yankah says he is being stabbed in the back by his vice Anthony Osei who has decided to run against him in the upcoming national Executive Committee elections.

Yankah has already petitioned the Elections Committee over the use of forged endorsements on the forms of both his competitors Osei and Alhaji Fuseini Mahama.

He has now accused Anthony Osei for scheming to unseat him the very moment he got re-elected as Western Regional FA chief.

“He is my vice and in the last elections he tried to run against me only to pull out in the last moment,” he told Atinka FM.

“Then I got re-elected only for him to start campaigning to unseat me within days of my re-election.”

The Elections Committee will go ahead to hear the petition of Kojo Yankah before taking a decision to either disqualify his competitors or pass them to proceed to contest.
