Mr John Kwadwo Gyapong, the Volta Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, has said the Region would vote for continuity at the December Polls but not make any mistake of choosing a “Trial and Error Change.”

He said though the entire Region had not been fully developed by the NDC Government, the Region did not want the “good works” started by President John Dramani Mahama to be truncated with the change of Government.

Mr Kwadwo Gyapong said this at a press conference in Ho, on Tuesday.

“We are prepared to have faith in the NDC and President Mahama to bring more development to the Volta Region, since we see nothing of great significance in the NPP’s manifesto that gives any great hope to the sons and daughters of this dear Region of ours,” he said.

Mr Kwadwo Gyapong said the NDC had a better development plan for the Region and urged the electorate not to be deceived by promises of the NPP.

He outlined some projects undertaken by the NDC Government in the Region and said the next NDC Government would build a water processing plant at Sogakope, build a bridge on the Volta Lake, build five more polyclinics and construct accident and emergency centres at Hohoe and Sogakope, respectively.

Mr Kwadwo Gyapong said all districts in the Region would be given 10 tractors to support farmers; adding that if the Volta Region gave NPP a chance, all those projects and interventions would be abandoned.
