The President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) Mr.Herbert Mensah has told sportscrusader.com about the ‘unseriousness’ of some public administrators who are the helm of sporting affairs in this country.

The former chief executive officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko admitted that there are too many square pegs in round holes in reference to administrators who are appointed into posts that are meant for experts to flourish and promote the game of sport in the country.

Herbert Mensah who led Kotoko to flourish and become the first Ghanaian football club to have a shirt sponsor with telecom company, Areeba now MTN is leading a crusade to promote a less financed and known sport in Ghana, Rugby but feels neglected and lonely in his course criticizing the government notably the ministry of youth and sports for leading the ignorance and total neglect of the sport.

“Too many comedians in positions where we should have serious administrators”, he told sportscrusader.com.

Mr Herbert also emphasized the neglect of the less financed sporting disciplines and how current administrators are only interested in selling football to fulfill their own selfish interest adds insult to injury.
