The internet can't determine my age - Ainooson

The age of a footballer is very essential in their quest to achieving a great feat whether with local clubs or foreign clubs.

A lot of footballers especially from Africa have had problems regarding their official age and one Ghanaian player who is currently going through that situation is Samuel Abeikku Ainooson.

According to Wikipedia, the stalwart defender who last week joined Sudanese giant from Asante Kotoko on a year deal was born on the 24th September 1990, meaning he is 25 years old.

But the former New Edubiase guardsman has vehemently rejected Wikipedia’s record claiming that he was born on the 24th September 1992.

“The records on the internet regarding my age is false, I’m not 25 years, I’m 23 years because in my passport my date of birth is 24th September 1992 and not 1990. So I have notified FIFA about it,” Ainooson said.

Now the question is, who is telling the truth, how did Wikipedia recorded 25 years instead of 23.
