City, as they are affectionately called by local fans, put their recent adversities behind them to to put up a spirited performance in the last three matches, accumulating 60 points ahead of second-placed Real Tamale United (RTU) and and Berekum Arsenals.

The club, based in Ghana vibrant commercial City of Techiman were found guilty of bribery and match fixing after investigations into their Match day 22 game played against Wa African United at the Damongo Park, and were subsequently demoted to the third-tier of Ghana Football.
