After weeks of speculations, Accra Hearts of Oak have settled on signing former Black Stars shot stopper Stephen Adams from Aduana Stars, leaving out Hearts of Lions goalie Mozart Adjetey and former first choice keeper Philemon McCarthy in the three man shortlist.

However, reports reveal that the move could be halted as Hearts are unable to meet the financial terms for a successful transfer.

Adams, who enjoyed a remarkable term with the Dormaa lads in the 2014/15 premier league season is said to be interested in the move to the capital after seven years with the 2010 Premier League champions.

With reports saying the club has no financial budget for the domestic transfer season, Hearts would have to keep faith in Burkinabe goalie Soulama Abduolaye, hoping the 35-year old raises his game for an impressive showing in the coming season.
