Sometimer calls for an educative Unit at the GFA

Renowned sports journalist and the General Manager of Asokwa Depotivo FC, Otuo Acheampong Barima Obuadaa, popularly known in the media industry as Sometimer has hinted that he will advocate for the Ghana Football Association to set up an educational unit to educate followers of the game as there is too much misconceptions about the FA.

Sometimer who made his intentions clear to contest for the position after picking his forms spoke exclusively to Ghanasoccernet.com about what informed his decision to aspire for Executive Committee of the GFA.

“The Ghana Football Association needs to establish an educational unit where they can educate the people for everybody to understand the activities of the association”, he said.

“Today the GFA has become a slaughter house. People have formed wrong and negative impressions about the association which only education can erase such notions”.

“The media has not been educated about the nitty-gritties of the Football Association with many not even having the opportunity to go through the status of the Ghana Football Association”.

“I believe such a unit should be avail2to address issues that will generate tension among people and the media to set the records straight”.

Sometimer will be following the footsteps of AshantiGold CEO Cudjoe Fianoo who had to close the door on his practice as a journalist into full time football administration.
