Security search at Stadia compulsory - NSA

National Sports Council National Sports Council

The head of Security at the National Sports Authority(NSA) Michael Smart Abbey has told Starr FM that any individual who accesses any of the stadia in the country would be subject to compulsory security checks.

According to the Security expect, most football enthusiasts and club owners turn up at the game and try to prevent the Security men on duty from searching their cars.

But Smart Abbey has sent a word of caution that they must abide by new rules that has been introduced at the various stadia with no excuses.

“If you have been coming to the stadium and your car has not been searched before and this time, there is a search, abide by it and don’t throw your weight around.

"Please abide by the new directives especially the so-called ‘big men’ and nobody should single himself above anybody.

"You see when security personnel are placed at the gates don’t argue with them because he or she doesn’t know you especially the big men”, Smart Abbey told Starr Sports.
