Rawlings Robbed

Former President Jerry John Rawlings put up his worst behavior again, when he apparently lost his mobile phone at Suhum in the Eastern Region. The crowd watched in shock as he accused party members who had come to hear him campaign for Prof Mills as thieves.

It all happened at the suburb of Gariba Zongo, where the former President had made a brief stopover to address party faithfuls in an attempt to persuade them to support his preferred candidate, Atta Mills against Kwesi Botchwey.

Suddenly Rawlings got up in a fit and screamed obscenities that his mobile phone had been stolen. Spinning his huge frame in a rage and throwing his long arms about like a possessed man. Rawlings reacted to the loss of the mobile set as if his very life depended on it.

Shouting at the top of his voice, which was not in the best of shape after a marathon of rallies for his prodigy, Prof Mills, the former President threw all caution to the wind, insulting the people and calling them all sorts of names including thieves.
