Ransford Osei signs for Finnish Club

Former Ghana U-20 star, Ransford Osei has officially penned to paper a deal with Finnish Club Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS).

The 25-year-old has been on trial with RoPS after failing to reach an agreement with Kazakhstani Club Shakhter Karagandy where he was reported to have signed.

The ex-Bloemfontein Celtic striker who impressed with the Ghana U17 and U20 team and was tagged as one of the potential strikers for the Black Stars has failed to live up to expectation though he earned him an opportunity in Ghana’s squad for the 2010 Cup of Nations in Angola but failed to make any appearance for the Black Stars.

The ex-Ghana U-17 forward has already been named in the RoPS squad for the new season and might make his against SJK in the League Cup on February 27.
