Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has mentioned that the inability of his team to win the entire 2016 G-6 Invitational tournament will not be seen as a failure by the technical team.

The Phobians open their account in the 2016 G-6 Invitational tournament with a game against familiar foes Aduana Stars at the Essipong stadium this evening and a win will be high on the agenda of the coach who has been warned to win the tournament or face the sack.

But the coach in an interaction with the media last night at the Naakoff Chinese Hotel in Takoradi, mentioned that he won’t consider it a failure if his team doesn’t win the entire tournament.

“We have our target about this competition and it’s to win the tournament, but should we fail to win it, we won’t see it as a major setback”, the coach mentioned.

However Kenichi Yatsuhashi was confident that they will tournament starting with this evening’s game against Aduana Stars.

“We go into every game with the intention to win it and Aduana’s game is no exception. The team is ready to play in the tournament and the pitch will do the talking”, he added.
