Osei: Kotoko, Hearts deserved a point each

Michael Osei Michael Osei

The Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has expressed satisfaction with the one-all draw against rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday, July 24.

Kotoko went into the game on the back of a goalless draw and a heavy 1-4 loss at the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs.

Mr Osei, speaking after the game, said both teams deserved a point each from the game.

He told Class Sports Kwame Dwomah-Agyemang that: “Both teams were tactically disciplined, and it was a very interesting game. I think one-one is OK for both teams. Unfortunately, you can’t dominate the match for 90 minutes, and as I was saying, I think everyone deserved one point each”.

The result leaves Kotoko five points behind league leaders Hearts of Oak with nine games to end the season.
