Oil & Gas: Rigworld receives three certifications

Ghana’s finest Oil and Gas Service Company in the upstream sector has attained the International Organization for standardization (ISO) certifications (ISO 14001: 2004, ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 8001:2007) from Bureau VERITAS making it the only Ghanaian upstream Oil and Gas services Company to achieve this feat at the same time.

The scopes of certifications cover Provision of Manpower supply, Protocol and Logistics supply in the oil and gas industry company at its two locations in Accra and Takoradi.

The certification comes on the heels of the numerous systematic requirement and measures put in place by RigWorld and its partners ensuring that their numerous clients are satisfied as well as ensuring value for money.

RigWorld did not relax on its oars as it continued to impress their regulators and as well their clients. This became evident when the company was certified by Bureau VERITAS with the ISO 14001: 2004 certificate. This feat was achieved with hard work and dedication from both the leadership of the company and staff. This certification means that RigWorld highly considers their environment and society in all their operations.

The ISO 14001:2004 certificate signifies that not only was the company able to achieve high recognition, but it went on to meet all principal management system standard which specifies requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System.

This certificate enshrines RigWorld to control their environmental aspects, reduce impacts and ensure legal compliance.

RigWorld International Services Limited was also awarded certification to prove compliance with the "ISO 9001:2008 standard confirming that the company has achieved all requirement in the area of Quality Management System (QMS) which in effect translated to satisfied clients in both customer expectations and delivery.

This is very evident in the company’s core values as they are poised to pay attention to every client detail and specification.

Rigworld was once again awarded the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification as they met all requirements for occupational health and safety management best practice.
